Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA) - All publicly-funded second graders in Vermont participate in this assessment, during which students read short books and answer questions about what they read. Assessors calibrate online in the spring before administering the DRA. Results of the DRA are reviewed annually by professionals at the Summer Auditing Institute. Portfolio Assessment of Alternate Grade Expectations (PAAGE) - (Formerly called Lifeskills Portfolio Assessment) This alternate assessment program is reviewed annually by professionals at the Summer Scoring Institute.
